Product description
VAD DN15 is a compact mechanical water meter platform with an optional battery-powered telemetry module for remote reading. The platform is intended for residential and light commercial installations where reliable local metering and scalable AMR/AMI integration are required. The concept combines a conventional roller register with communication functionality prepared for remote data collection while preserving a clear compliance path for EU market release.

VAD DN15 is a compact mechanical water meter platform for potable-water metering in household and light commercial systems. The product concept combines a conventional roller register with an optional battery-powered telemetry module for remote reading and event transmission. The communication function should be declared as an additional functionality without metrological impact where that matches the certified architecture.

EU legal framework
MID 2014/32/EU (MI-001) for water meters. Radio-equipped versions additionally fall under RED 2014/53/EU. CE marking applies in line with the applicable conformity assessment route.
Standards basis
Use EN ISO 4064 series for the metering function. Where the telemetry module is an ancillary or additional functionality without metrological impact, EN 14154-4:2023 may be referenced accordingly.
